The NFL is Rigged-Fans Show How They Know

It seems everything these days is shrouded in Conspiracy Theories and mistrust. The latest institution at the heart of conspiracy theorists’ chatter is NFL football, one of America’s favorite pastimes.

Why would the NFL be scripted? I am still determining what the motives behind having a script would be. I will admit, though, sometimes the outcomes of games, plays called, and questionable (to say the least) calls by the refs, can make even the most loyal fans question the authenticity of the game.

Let’s look at what fans have to say about the NFL being rigged.

The Superbowl Logo Theory

This theory stems from the colors of the Superbowl logo, designed in the same colors as the two teams competing in the Superbowl long before the season starts.

Leaked Commercials BEFORE the playoffs are over

This was seen already, yet the AFC and NFC championship games are still a week away.

Some fans are asking players directly if the NFL is rigged. They have gone as far as to say injuries are preplanned, just like wins and losses.

Plays Too Wild to Believe

When NFL players make huge plays, fans used to be excited by the display of athleticism, but now these plays just seem too good to be true. Is it too much skepticism, or a script?

The Refs

Referees are bound to make someone mad no matter what they call or don’t call. The conflict between officials and fans is nothing new, but accusing the refs of throwing the game is next level. Are the refs missing too many big calls, or are they just doing their part to keep the NFL Script running?

The last true “day” game (one which ended before local sunset) was Super Bowl XI in January of 1977.

10. Fans love Football!

The record live crowd presence at a Super Bowl was 103,985 in 1980. The lowest crowd was in 2021, due to COVID-19 health restrictions limiting the stadium capacity to just 22,000 fans.
