Chantelle KincyWhen it comes to the top celebrity hang-out spots, the beach is going to be number one. This is where stars can relax, get a nice tan, and have a romantic getaway with their new love interest.
You might think, I’ve never seen a celebrity at a beach before. Which beaches are they going to? Celebrities only go to the most exclusive beaches with the most privacy, so spotting a celebrity at your local beach will likely not happen.
That’s why I made a list of the top 10 beach vacations that celebrities can’t get enough of, so that you can spot a celebrity in the wild, or just live as they do for a while.
St Tropez
This colorful beach town with crystal blue water in the South of France is one of the hot spots for celebrities. The only way to get to St Tropez is by car or boat, which makes this seaside village hard to get to for normal people like us.
One place where you’re almost guaranteed to see a celebrity in St Tropez is Club 55. Some celebrities who have eaten at this beachfront restaurant are Elton John, Jennifer Lopez, Sylvester Stallone, and Kate Moss.
St Barts
St Barts (or Saint Barthélemy) is an island in the Caribbean that is known for its green mountains, white sand beaches, and mega yachts. The hit show Below Deck did a lot of its filming near this island and showed just how beautiful this place is.
Stars like Beyoncé, Paul McCartney, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Mariah Carey have all visited here to party on their yachts and take in the stunning beauty of this island. There are also lots of 5-star hotels that line the beaches here that offer privacy for the rich and famous.
Bondi Beach
This laid-back surfing beach is one of the largest beaches in Sydney, Australia, and attracts visitors from around the world. Celebrities don’t only visit this beach, they live here. Hugh Jackman and Naomi Watts are some of the most famous people who live on Bondi Beach in their multi-million dollar mansions.
Some other famous people who have visited this beach are Zach Effron, Chris Hemsworth, Russell Crowe, and many more. If you are looking for celebrities, then this is the perfect place to do it.
Cabo San Lucas
Mexico is the best country in the world. It has incredible food, the kindest people, and stunning beaches. Cabo San Lucas is at the tip of the Baja Pennisula and is most famous for its rock formation, El Arco, a three-story tall rock arch in the ocean.
The most noteworthy names that have visited here are Justin and Hailey Bieber, Selena Gomez, Chris Pratt, and Will Smith. Cabo is the perfect place for celebrities because there are hundreds of miles of beach and an infinite amount of 5-star resorts.
Turtle Island, Fiji
Turtle Island is one of the most romantic and relaxing places in the world to visit. Celebrities like Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson have spent their honeymoons here in style with private beachfront cottages that cost thousands of dollars per night.
Turtle Island is a private island that only has 14 couples at a time. This makes it the ultimate escape for A-list celebrities who want to get away from it all and have zero chance of any paparazzi getting anywhere near them.
Amalfi Coast
Movies like The Talented Mr. Ripley, The Godfather, Call Me By Your Name, and Eat, Pray, Love have all romanticized Italy and made everyone want to go live out our perfect Italian summers. This goes for celebrities as well.
The Amalfi Coast is on a peninsula that has little fishing villages, tall mountains, and gorgeous beaches. Michael Jordan, Sofía Vergara, Neil Patrick, and Mick Jagger have all vacationed on the Amalfi coast.
South Beach, Miami
Miami is called “the magic city” because of its skyscrapers, nightlife, and, of course, its magical beaches. South Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Miami and has hundreds of celebrities who visit here each year.
And celebrities don’t just visit here, they’ve put down roots. Shaquille O’Neal, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, and Gianni Versace are just several of the big names that live on South Beach and that doesn’t include the ones who just visit.
St Lucia
Heading back to the Caribbean, we have St Lucia. This small island has tall mountains, colorful coral reefs, and calm white sand beaches. This is another famous spot for super yachts, which brings out the rich and famous to this luxury island getaway.
Some of the VIPs who have visited here are Oprah Winfrey, Matt Damon, Ludacris, and Ellie Goulding. Celebrities love it here for the secluded beaches, lively nightlife, and amazing sunsets.
Turks and Caicos
This is one of Drake’s favorite places to rap about and visit. Turks and Caicos is located in the Bahamas and is a British-owned territory. Here, you can find luxury resorts, shops, and restaurants as well as private beaches and turquoise water.
Drake is not the only celebrity that has visited this amazing island. People like Bill Gates, Brad Pitt, Lionel Messi, and Ryan Seacrest have also vacationed here and loved it!
Maldives
Finally, we have the Maldives. This country of small islands off the coast of India is where some of the most luxurious hotels in the world are located. The ones that you have definitely seen pictures of on social media are the LUX South Ari Atoll, and the Lily Beach Resort And Spa.
Some celebrities that have been to the Maldives are Millie Bobby Brown, Stanley Tucci, and the Kardashians. In the Maldives, you can charter a boat and just hop from one island to the next and take in the beauty that surrounds you.
