Baby Boomers, the generation born between 1946 and 1964, love to travel and have particular tastes. My Dad is a boomer, and although he isn’t quite retired yet, he has a flexible work schedule.

Every time I talk to him, he has another trip planned. Last year was Italy, England, and Maine, and needless to say, I was jealous! Many boomers plan a fun getaway every year, and they are the most traveled generation.

As a native Californian, I’ve had many friends relocate to Nashville for its affordability and plethora of activities, making it a great place to visit. Nashville is home to more than 200 live music venues, earning it the nickname “Music City.” Boomers who grew up listening to Elvis, Johnny Cash, and Dolly Parton can relive their youth by visiting iconic landmarks such as the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium.
